This is to clear up something to do with my Main OC Rider.

I want to clear up the thing with the stripes on her nose.

When I normally draw her she looks like this:
You Mad Bro? by Java-Kitty

But sometimes she will have stripes on her nose as shown here:
Am I Cute Yet? by Java-Kitty

I want to explain this because this is a question I get a lot.
"Where do the stripes go?"
or
"Did you forget her stripes?"

To explain: Rider's stripes are actually face paint. YES they are painted on.
Rider doesn't wear make up or anything to change her general appearance. But she is in fact VERY self conscious about herself.
The stripes actually cover a scar on the bridge on her nose. You cannot SEE the scar unless looking down on her since it's an old injury and the fur has long since grown back to hide it.
But when she first got it she wanted to hide her face. But would have died at the thought of covering it with a bandage -since they would stick out even more- and she of course hates make up.
The stripes started when someone spilled ink on her by accident while at work.
She was unable to get it off before she got home and it left two vague diamond shapes on her nose.
Nether found it adorable and mentioned that it made her look "fierce"
And Rider who loved this idea tried it out with black face paint. She found she loved the aggressive edge it gave her.
Her daughter Metalica referred to it as her "war face"
Rider tends to only use it when on guard duty or important events. When lazing about at home she cant be asked to paint her face.
Thus why it's not always there.

That's a cute and cool little trait! I knew it was face paint, but I didn't know the story behind it
